We visited this authentic Korean restaurant for my last dinner in Atlanta this winter break. It was cold outside, while we felt warm inside because of their welcoming staff and free hot tea. Surprisingly, there was a plate of raw crabs in their free sides. The raw crab was fresh and delicious. The curry potato was also great, but other sides were mediocre. We ordered the first entree in the menu, cod and radish. This dish was amazing with a high spicy level. There were fresh and flavorful cod, radishes, tofu, and mushrooms on a sizzling hot stone. Two bowls of purple rice came with it. It marked for 2 people, but it could be enough for three people. Anyway, I do appreciate it that they gave us a wonderful dinner at the beginning of new spring semester.

Absolutely blown away by the authenticity here! If you’ve been hunting for rich, flavorful Korean stews with real depth (not the watery kind), this is the spot. I ordered the Galbijjim and it was incredible — came with six tender, fall-off-the-bone short ribs and a generous topping of soybean sprouts. We also got the sundae (Korean blood sausage). btw they serve seasonal side dishes, and the spicy marinated crab was one of my favorite — fresh and packed with umami. Definitely coming back! they have semi- private room and tons of parking space. 친구가 추천해줘서 갔는데 크.. 너무너무너무맛있어요 ᄒᄒ 진짜다시오고싶은맛이에욤

We visited this restaurant for lunch after 1 PM, and it was bustling with activity. The parking lot in front of the restaurant was completely full, a clear sign of its popularity among the locals. While the interior design of the restaurant is simple and unpretentious, it’s evident that their focus is entirely on delivering high-quality food and exceptional flavors. What stood out to me was the attentive involvement of the owners, who were actively present in the dining area, managing operations and interacting with customers to ensure everything was running smoothly. This personal touch created a welcoming and well-organized dining experience. Among the side dishes, I especially enjoyed their marinated crab (게장), which was a delightful addition to the meal. I ordered the 돌솥 비빔밥 (stone pot bibimbap), and it was absolutely excellent—perfectly prepared with fresh ingredients and served piping hot, just as it should be. It’s always heartening to see a restaurant gain a strong reputation for its dedication to quality and taste, and I’m glad to have had the opportunity to experience it myself. This is definitely a spot I’d recommend and look forward to revisiting.

This restaurant is known for gopchang jeongol, which is cow intestines hot soup. It was perfect for this cold weather. It's not too spicy and tastes great. korean marinated raw crabs came out as a side dish. It is hard to eat in the U.S. interior was a little dirty, especially where I sat at a corner. They need to do more interior upgrade in the future. But the servers were friendly and quick and the food was great!

Typical Korean restaurant vibe with some private dining areas. Chung ki wa has a lot of uncommon Korean dishes such as the rib and soy marinated crab. We tried the viral rib and soy marinated crab and it was pretty good. The service was very great. I highly recommend everyone to try out!

As I’m visiting my friend in Atlanta, this place was highly recommended by local friends. Wow!!! Braised black cod fish was out of this world! Combination of Korean radish, tofu and vegetable with black cod were beyond amazing. Ugoji Galbi soup was had homemade taste. I wish I could try other dish but got too full. Marinated crab was one of the complimentary banchan (side dish) and it was so good. Defiantly coming back to try other Korean dishes in my next Atlanta visit.
